-
Are You Qualified Carpet Cleaners?Yes, we are fully trained and certified carpet cleaning professionals, accredited by NJORD Chemicals. We have developed extensive expertise in cleaning both domestic and commercial carpets, upholstery, and safety flooring. Additionally, we have trained with a specialist deep cleaning company, and through our work with local landlords and agents, we’ve perfected the art of thorough pre- and end-of-tenancy cleans, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
-
Does Your Cleaning Company Have Insurance?Yes, A's Team is fully insured, offering up to £5 million in public liability coverage. This insurance also includes protection for "items being worked on," which many other companies often overlook. Imagine hiring a carpet cleaner for £100 to clean all the carpets in your home, only to find yourself facing thousands of pounds in replacement costs due to damage – all because their insurance doesn’t cover it. With us, you won’t have to worry about that!
-
Are You Health and Safety Compliant?Absolutely! At A's Team, we prioritize health and safety. We adhere to a strict health and safety policy, and for every project, we provide site-specific Risk Assessment, along with the necessary PPE and safety warning signs when required. No domestic or commercial work begins without a thorough risk assessment. Additionally, our equipment is PAT tested annually and consistently maintained to ensure safety and efficiency.
-
Can I Trust You to Work in My Home or Office?Yes, you can! Every member of A's Team undergoes a thorough background check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and holds an up-to-date certificate, ensuring they have no criminal record. This guarantees our team is safe to work around children, vulnerable individuals, and in environments such as care homes, schools, and safehouses. We take pride in serving our community with professionalism and care, always being friendly, respectful, and adaptable to your needs.
-
How Can I Pay You?For domestic customers, we accept payment via cash or BACS on the same day the service is completed.
-
Do I Have to Pay for Parking? Do You Need a Parking Space?A's Team requires a designated parking space for the duration of our cleaning services. Most of our customers either provide a parking space or arrange for a visitor permit. If this isn’t possible, there may be an additional charge. It’s essential that we park as close as possible to the property or building so we can easily transport our equipment and materials. If parking arrangements need to be made, the sooner we’re informed, the better, as it allows us time to pre-book a space, for instance, with local authorities. Please note, we reserve the right to cancel a job if parking has not been pre-arranged before our arrival. Additionally, we will not park on private land or in a car park without explicit permission to use a designated space.
-
Do you need a continuous supply of Electricity and Water on the day?Yes, we need a continuous supply of electricity to complete the cleaning, and this must be available before we arrive. This is non-negotiable. If you believe this might be an issue, please inform us during the initial quotation, and we can discuss possible solutions. While we carry water in our vehicle, certain situations—such as high-rise flats or offices in city centers—may require water to be available on-site. We typically ask about this during the quoting process, but if you anticipate any challenges, please let us know in advance!
-
Will You Remove All Carpet Stains?Whether a stain can be fully removed depends on several factors, such as whether the carpet fibers are permanently stained and how much liquid has soaked through to the backing. Unfortunately, we can’t determine this until we’ve made an attempt. As a result, we cannot guarantee complete stain removal—no professionally trained carpet cleaner should. What we can promise is that all the dirt will be extracted from your carpets, and we’re always happy to show you the dirty water after! A's Team always discusses the expected results with you before starting any work. Our hot water extraction method is the most effective for tackling stains, ground-in dirt, and odors. Stubborn stains like chocolate, mud, and pet accidents can often be removed. However, if you’ve inherited your carpets, we can’t predict the full history, such as past treatments with stain removers like Vanish, which may cause stains to resurface during cleaning. We are not responsible if this happens, as it's beyond our control. Spills are inevitable, and when liquids are spilled, they can not only stain the surface fibers but also seep deep into the backing, underlay, or even the floor beneath. The liquid can remain trapped, eventually drying or turning moldy. It’s important to act quickly and absorb as much liquid as possible to avoid this. While we use professional methods to remove stains, we can’t put the responsibility on the cleaner for stains that are caused by spills and have penetrated deeply. Sometimes, during the drying process, a stain may "wick back" to the surface as it lifts from the backing through the fibers. In conclusion, whether a stain can be fully removed depends on the level of damage and liquid absorption. Since we won’t know this until we try, we cannot guarantee stain removal—no professional carpet cleaner should.

What Should You Do Before We Arrive? We recommend giving your carpets a thorough vacuum before we arrive. We always will but we know customers generally want to give it a once over before we arrive. A good vacuuming helps ensure a deeper clean. If the property is empty and you’re unable to vacuum, please let us know in advance, and we can arrange to take care of it. To achieve the best results, it’s helpful to remove as many items as possible from the areas we’ll be cleaning. This allows us to clean more thoroughly and reach as much of the carpet as possible! For health, safety, and insurance reasons, we do not move large furniture items like dressers full of crockery, fully loaded wardrobes, heavy chests of drawers, or big beds without wheels—especially wooden ones. Large TVs and stands. We will clean around and underneath these items where possible. However, we can move smaller pieces of furniture and clean underneath them. Sofas will be moved if it is safe to do so for both us and your carpet. If you'd like the sofa moved, please check for any debris underneath beforehand—you’d be surprised at what we sometimes find! As always, we will discuss everything with you and provide advice before starting the job.
-
What if My Carpets Smell During or After Cleaning?A's Team will always discuss the expected results before starting any carpet cleaning. If your carpets are made of 100% wool or a wool blend (commonly 80/20 wool and synthetic fibers), you may notice a smell during and after the cleaning process until the carpets are completely dry. This is perfectly normal and should dissipate within a couple of days. To help, keep the rooms well-ventilated and avoid using powders, perfumes, or chemicals like 'Shake n Vac' on your carpets. If you've inherited your carpets when moving in, we can't always predict what might be embedded within them, such as pet urine from previous tenants. This could cause an odor to emerge during cleaning, which is beyond our control. Additionally, stains previously treated with products like Vanish may reappear during the cleaning process. Unfortunately, we are not responsible if these issues occur.
-
Do You Provide Flea Treatment and Insecticide?Yes, A's Team is licensed to treat textile pests like fleas and moths. We offer flea and insect treatments, but this service comes at an additional cost. It’s important that you inform us in advance if you require this. Depending on the situation, we may need to apply the treatment a few days prior to performing a deep clean. Using our training and expertise, we always conduct a thorough survey before starting any additional treatments.

Will You Remove All Stains? The ability to fully remove a stain depends on several factors, such as whether the fibers are permanently stained and how much liquid has soaked through to the backing. Unfortunately, we cannot determine this until we make an attempt. Therefore, A's Team cannot guarantee complete stain removal—no professionally trained upholstery cleaner should guarantee this. What we can promise is that we’ll remove all the dirt, and we love to show you the dirty water we’ve extracted at the end! We’ll always provide advice and discuss expected results with you before any work begins. If you’ve inherited your upholstery when moving into your office or property, we cannot know what may be in the furniture, including stains previously treated with stain removers like Vanish, which may reappear during our cleaning process. This is out of our control, and we are not responsible if it happens. When liquid spills occur, they can stain the surface fibers and, if not blotted and absorbed quickly, can soak into the backing or filling of the furniture. The liquid can then remain trapped, potentially drying or becoming moldy. We all know spills happen, even with the best of intentions. It’s important to understand that an upholstery cleaner cannot be held responsible for fully removing a stain when they've clearly explained why it cannot be guaranteed. Sometimes, after we attempt stain removal, a stain may "wick back" to the surface as the furniture dries, meaning it resurfaces from the backing or filling. In summary, whether a stain can be fully removed depends on the extent of the damage and how deeply the liquid has penetrated. Unfortunately, as previously mentioned, we cannot guarantee full stain removal—no professional cleaner should.

Do I Need to Do Anything Before You Arrive? If possible, please remove as many items and pieces of furniture from the flooring area as you can. This allows us to access and clean as much of the flooring as possible for the best results! Ensure that any absorbent items are also removed from the floor and surrounding areas. For health and safety reasons, we do not move large or heavy furniture. We will clean around and underneath heavy items where accessible. As mentioned, it's essential to remove any absorbent materials from the area, as we will be using cleaning solutions and hot water to rinse your safety flooring. We will always provide guidance during the quotation and before starting any work on-site.
-
I Still Live in the Property or Have Belongings Inside – Is That Okay? No, it’s important that the property is fully vacated, with no personal belongings left inside, for our cleaning to meet the agent’s standards. For pre-tenancy cleaning, we also recommend that the property be as empty as possible to ensure you receive the thorough deep cleaning service we provide. If you have any concerns or questions about this, please let us know during the quotation process, and we’ll advise you accordingly.
-
Do You Need Hot Water and Electricity to Deep Clean My Property?Yes, both are essential. We require access to running hot water and a continuous supply of electricity to carry out the deep clean. This must be available and ready before 8 a.m. on the day we arrive at your property. This requirement is non-negotiable.
-
Do I Have to Pay for Parking? Do You Need a Parking Space?A's Team requires a designated parking space for the duration of the cleaning service. Most customers either provide a parking space or arrange for a visitor permit for the day. If this isn’t possible, there may be an additional charge. It’s important for us to park as close to the property or building as possible to transport our materials and equipment efficiently. The earlier you inform us of parking arrangements, the more time we have to secure a space, such as pre-booking a bay with local authorities. Please note, we reserve the right to cancel the job if parking is not arranged before our arrival. Additionally, we will not park on private land or in a car park without explicit permission for a designated space.
